It has been felt that there is a tremendous need of trained teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools of our state, particularly in the district of Anantapur . The SSBN College, with the help of eminent educationists and scientists of the locality, has come forward and set up SSBN College of Education.



In order to achieve the target of Quality-Teacher-Education, National Council of Teacher Education (N C T E), the apex body of teacher education in the country, has set up certain norms for B.Ed. colleges. It is a great pleasure to us to announce that we are following such norms, to the satisfaction of S.K. University and other bodies. Library, laboratory and other infrastructural facilities are up to the mark as per the norms.

The excellent teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution, we hope, would do their best for the uplift of this B.Ed. college and upto the satisfaction of the beneficiaries, as well as, of the concerned authorities.
